Crypto texted me from Melbourne this afternoon that FOTR is still in theaters there. Hey, Crypto, did you watch it there? Did you see the TTT trailer? There's a preview available already on the net, and I'm downloading it right now. I hope it works.

If you guys are interested, go to this site. :D

*GASP! GASP!*

it's almost as i pictured Faramir to be! Fantastic! I hope he lives up to the character's spirit. ANg galeng ng team ni Peter JAckson mag cast. Bilib talaga ako.

Thanks for taking time out to post it for me there. :)

Pero ang weird, kasi I kind of pictured him to be in red. hmmm...

bakit kaya?

Hmmm...tripod is a little slow in showing updates. Let's see if we need to move again. But, for now, we're here. :-)

Nakaka-excite!!! I've been reading stuff about the TTT trailer. It's now showing in theaters in the States, attached to FOTR. Arrgghhh....of course, tapos na yung FOTR run sa atin. Someone posted on Pinoyexchange that he has seen the trailer on TV, but I don't know how true that is because lordoftherings.net reports that the trailer is for theatre release only.

I can't wait until the thing is downloadable!!!

If you hear of news, post it here, k? BTW, the DVD will be out August. There will be two releases. The second release will be in November AND will be the extended version. Syempre torn ako...should I order the first release AND the 2nd release? Kakainis sila ha. Alam nilang may mga baliw na fans. It's unfair!!!

Let me paste the details of the DVD release here. I got it from Newline.com

New Line Home Entertainment announced Tuesday that The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring will be coming to DVD & VHS August 6th, 2002.

The two-disc DVD set will be available in both wide screen and full screen formats and will include the theatrical version of the film plus exciting bonus material on the second disc. These features include three in-depth programs that reveal the secrets behind the production of this epic adventure and 15 video featurettes. Also included on the bonus disc will be:

One of the greatest sneak previews in movie history, featuring a ten-minute behind the scenes preview of The Two Towers, the second installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy coming to theaters December 2002

The theatrical version of the film (PG-13)

Enya's "May It Be" music video

Exclusive DVD-ROM online content

A preview of a new Electronic Arts video game

A "Special Extended Edition" of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring will arrive in stores November 12. This extended edition of the film contains more than 30 minutes of never- before-seen footage created for the home video release. This version of the film, available on DVD and VHS, will likely have an R rating. The "Special Extended DVD Edition" will be contained in a four-disc set with two discs containing the film, and two discs with more than six hours of added content, produced specifically for the DVD. These extras will plunge the viewer into the complex landscape of Middle-earth, and reveal how the filmmakers created a painstakingly beautiful, and faithful re-creation of Tolkien's world.

A collector's DVD gift set will also be released on November 12 in time for the holiday season. This gift set will include the "Special Extended Edition" with box art packaging conceived and designed by famed Tolkien illustrator Alan Lee. Included with the DVD are custom bookends designed and sculpted by Sideshow WETA, the artists that crafted the astonishing theatrical visual effects for The Lord of the Rings. The gift set will also include the National Geographic "Beyond the Movie" DVD, containing two previously unreleased featurettes and a photo gallery. These extras are topped off with a set of exclusive, collectible Decipher game cards.

Hey, whichever version I get, let's watch it here, k? I'm also thinking of ordering the National Geo DVD. :-)

Ok, I was able to move the blog -- not the entire site, just the blog and a few of the archive pages. I haven't uploaded all the photos, wallpapers, etc to Tripod yet. I'll try to upload everything so we can have the same stuff over to the new place.

I just have the files in different folders but once I've organized them, I'll just dump em to their new home. Anyhoo, the old site will still be there so if you want to download old pics or whatever, you can hop on to Geocities.

But for new posts, head on to http://techyhobbit.tripod.com :-) Same procedure, new URL.

See ya!

Hello Techy Hobbits!!! Happy Easter!!!

Data, i uploaded the pics of Faramir to our site para makita mo. Hope it works. Click here.
Abbie, aba aba! Marunong na ngang mag-apparate si Legsie, ah.

BTW, important announcement. The Techy Hobbit will be moving to a new site because Geocities will not be allowing FTP access to us starting April 1. So, I'll just put up a splash page at the old URL to link to our blog. I'll post the new url in a while.

Keep posting!
