I've seen some of the goblets on the Royal Selangor site. I think nakita rin natin yung iba doon sa RS branch in G4, along with the 42,000-peso chess-set. Hehe. Sayang, sana you took pictures man lang of the goodies. Hehe, turista.

I've seen the TTT trailer, actually just half of it pa lang cos I didn't finish the download cos I was too sleepy. But, what I did see, WOW!!! Grabe, text pa lang at music ("This Christmas...the journey continues in...The Two Towers -- LOTR theme music) ang lumalabas gusto ko nang umiyak. Galing ni Eowyn!!! She's going to be the new Legolas of TTT. I can't wait to see her scenes.

I also saw Grima in the trailer. Data, tell our friend there in Mordor that her make-up is really good in the movie. I hardly recognized her except for that black air that seemed to emanate the character. Good job! Ah, oh...she wasn't wearing make-up? Grabe, didn't know that her descent down the dark path had already taken her THAT far. Hehe, anyway, good job pa rin. Grima was very convincing in that 1-second shot.

(hehe, just fooling around...)

Abbie-dude, medyo OA pa rin umarte ang boylet mong may pana. Pero, oo nga naman. It was filmed around the same time din nga pala...so green pa rin ang Greenleaf. Pero, I'm sorry, cutie pa rin with pointy ears.
Panoorin nyo na nang makapag-collective gush na tayong lahat.

ian-i,

sorry i was too busy to login my return to mordor :)

man! i was a few thousand kilometers from middle earth! but i didn't have a visa so i contented myself with the land of oz. my friend boyong who lives in oz sent me an announcement saying that australia would be one of the first countries to see the TTT trailer. several theaters there were actually still showing it. however, mahal ang tickets doon plus i didn' t have enough time to drop in, kahit man lang during trailer-time (eh di lalong mahal ang bayad kung trailer lang papanoorin!).

the oz bookstores and hobbyshops had lots of LOTR merchandise. things we didn't get to see here in pinas -- Royal Selangor (the pewter shop na may branchin in G4) had pewter goblets. there were chess sets, miniatures and busts that were more intricate than the toys in toy kingdom, bookmarks, bookplates, trading card games, fridge magnets, posters, and a little jewelbox with velvet lining that had the One Ring on a silver chain. mahal lahat except the bookplates (relatively speaking). sobrang overwhelmed ko that i didn't buy ANY of them :)

ibang usapin pa yung harry potter shop sa Myers in melbourne hehe. when i visited, the counter girl there was attending to a customer who was calling via phone, asking assistance about how to play the quidditch card game. funnily enough, the counter girl knew the rules by heart and carefully explained them to the caller.

anyways.... here's a link given to me by my friend. it's a series of posts by women who want to form a women's fellowship to match the company... http://www.hatrack.com/ubb/forum/Forum2/HTML/005311.html
