Waaaaahhhhhhhhh! My computer is dead! Or at least i think it is. It won't boot and there's a sinister message at the top of the screen (which turns blue, by the way) then attempts to reboot. that's why i haven't any new findings to share.

i can't even attend Quenya class! AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

On the word "Techy"
I ran a search for the word TECHY on Google kanina and I found several sites using that spelling of "techy!" Mwahahahaha...it's an accepted spelling! Check out this write up for a book called Shockwave Rider in Amazon:

On Legolas
I just remembered, FOTR the movie showed Legolas riding into Rivendell and he was using a saddle! Tsk, tsk. Baka dinedma na ni Peter Jackson yung detail na yon. Kasi nga, sabihin ng mga tao over na. I wonder if they'll show Gandalf riding saddle-less on Shadowfax. Bonding rin kasi sila nung kabayo kaya wala siyang saddle, diba?

The Tracker
We have a tracker on the site. It's the square button below the Blogger button. We can track if people visit the site (like who else will visit us, eh? hehe). Just in case you're curious. But I guess tayo-tayo lang yan. If you look at the "Unique" section, kung proxy4.skyinet.net and nakasulat, ako yan. I think Probe is also running on Skyinet? wow, ian, ganun pala si Legolas. Biro mo, araw-araw nya akong sinusundo sa opis e di ko man lang alam na nalalakad nya pala ang land of dreams.
e langya, pwede pala syang mag-edit nang mag-edit, 8 nights in a row! pare, todo puyat, sisiw lang pala sa kanya.

sobra syang perfect sa atin di na sya totoo. O malamang totoo pero sobrang tagal na nilang wala dito sa mundo at di na gaanong pinapansin ang mga good things then del sobra na tayong hirap sa mga panahon ngayon.
feeling ko kaya ganon na lang ang gusto ng mga tao kay legolas kasi ni isa, wala nga syang quality ng isang human being.
Sobra silang god-like, kung sakaling makakita ako (ayan, baka wala nang maniwala sakin na shota ko si legolas!), siguro para akong nag-undergo ng isang apparition.

anyway, ano kayang naging inspirasyon ni idol para maka-create ng ganong klaseng nilalang. surely may pinagbasihan sya sa mga hobbits? o wala...basta...
ang alam ko nga sa mga elves nun halos kasinglaki lang nila ang mga dwarves, parang brownies, ganon ba yun? basta mga little people. ganon.

The Character of Legolas Greenleaf, Prince of Mirkwood

A lot of newbies liked Legolas because of his action-star quality, dashing good looks (yay!) but there are those who got a little irked by his popularity. Some of them say that his feats were unbelievable. Imagine when The Two Towers comes around. In the book, Tolkien describes Legolas more -- giving hints of how elves are in the form of Legolas's actions: he doesn't need a saddle to ride a horse, and can command a horse by mere whispered words. He hardly needs sleep (usually resting for much less time than Aragorn and Gimli), and sometimes, he can walk in "the land of dreams" while being awake.

Imagine people's reactions then! Ano ba yan, over na ha!

I think I'll tear my hair out kung marinig ko yon. I'll carry a sign saying, "Kasi nga, he's an ELF. Live with it."

teka, baka raw magpakita pa si boromir sa two towers daw. blita ko. mukhang may dream sequence ata ang brother Faramir at magpapakita raw don si kuya. kaya masasabi daw na nandon pa rin sya sa part two.

kita ko na, ian, sa link yung tattoo. nung una kala ko, hala, ano yun? nakakatakot tignan. tas nung pinindot ko e may malaking version pa nung pix. oo nga, ankle nga yun at medyo kita yung runes. pero ito yung quenya ata o sindarin kinda runes at hindi yung flowing version sa movie.

galing. hanggang ngayon, e nakatatak pa rin sa left arm ko. paminsan-minsan e nire-retouch ko rin. Yakker!
bathala na. wala nakong pakialam kung magmukhang yagit nako. basta ma-master ko yung mga letra, okay nako. pag-aaralan ko rin gawin sa speedball pen. mas madali. isang stroke-an lang yun, ayos na.

wala. nakaka-seven pa rin ako. at isang sinehan na lang ang Lord of the rings. di tulad dati na tatlo-tatlo, apat-apat na sinehan naka-screening ang pelikula. kelangan makumpleto ko na ang nobena.

mwahahaha. tapos susunod yung soundtrack na. tapos susunod yung dvd in the future (may pagmamahal e!), tapos susunod, shota ko na si legolas. tapos susunod makiki-affair daw ako kay frodo, tapos malalaman ni boromir...kasi patay na patay nga sya kay frodo. in the end, susunduin na lang ako ni legolas sa opis.

last soundbyte: "Abbie...Abbie...reception area please...Sundo mo, si Legolas, nandito na." Mwahahaha! tapos kakachakin nya pa yung puso ko!

Oh, Ian-i! I am so touched! what a great site, i'll visit it na. I think i took a peek at this site while looking for elf language downloads. i hope i'll download the right way. especially the .wav files.

Abi, hilarious ang posts mo! I was literally laughing my head off while reading it! nakalimutan ko tuloy ang lahat ng ipo-post ko.

Ah! i rmeber: bad trip si Christian TOlosa! bakit naman kasi piniling magpaka-good employee at a most crucial time in our LOTR lives? hay naku! pero wag kang magalala, Abi, mari pang susunod diyan na appearances, ngayong nagkakaroon na ng idol status si EJW. (Happy Birthday nga pala, po. 28th ngayon sa Tate)

Argh. My pc froze as I was posting. Ok, will make this quick. I have a really cool link -- which I dedicate to Data.

Gwaith-i-Phethdain is a site dedicated to JRRT's languages. It's got articles and .wav downloads so you can hear pronunciations of Elvish phrases and what-not. Sobrang galing. There is a section dedicated to the use of JRRT's languages in the LOTR movie. You'll get spells, runes, etc.

And Data, go ahead and download Arwen's audio files, they're not done by Liv Tyler ata. They're done by this linguist ata. :D And btw, there's such a thing as an Elfling egroup.

Alright, I've tweaked the design of our blog. It's not really middle-earthy -- color scheme is too, i dunno, modern? subdued? not fantastic at all. but, since we are techy hobbits, hehe, i though maybe gray would be a nice color. Besides, our favorite wizard's first color was grey. :D

Found publicity pics for The Two Towers. The pics aren't very descriptive, so I don't think you could call them spoilers. But still, click at your own risk, hehe. I uploaded the pics of Aragorn, Frodo, people of Rohan going to Helm's Deep, and Soldiers of Rohan at Helm's Deep.

National Geographic is releasing a documentary on LOTR -- its influences, JRRT's life, parallels to the "real" world (hehe, Middle-earth is real enough to some). To buy or not to buy. I think I should rein myself in -- been going loco over LOTR again. Oh well. It's nice to have something to like.

Screening 1: Boromir (and Legolas, ganda ng entra nya sa Rivendell e!, na-kachuk nya bigla ang puso ko!)

Screening 2: Bakbakan sa may..ano na nga ba yun? basta yung pinugutan na ni Aragorn ang kainis na Uruk-hai. palakpakan ang mga tao sa sinehan e.

Screening 3: Boromir and (gagayahin kita sa wordings chenes) Prologue and the Flight to the Ford. huling suot at hubad ng ring ni Frodo sa may Argonath.

Screening 4: Shire, birthday ni Bilbo (unti-unti nakong nado-draw sa mata ni Frodo hanggang ending) Classic audio epek sa may Argonath.

Screening 5: Boromir. Nadadala nako ng music. Dito ko napansin nang todo yung sequence sa Isildur, sabay enter isang mala-moth-na-butterfly at hinagip na rin pati hininga ko sa ganda ng muzwak; Solid pa rin: cool audio chuva sa may Argonath.

Screening 6: Boromir. Moria.

Screening 7: Mga fight scenes lahat: sa Moria, sa may Argonath, at may pagkalito pa ako kung sino talagang kachak ng puso ko: si Legolas, si Frodo o si...Gandalf. Yakker! Joke! At syempre ang cool audio epek sa may Argonath.

okay lang na di nakita si frodo sa david letterman na yan. tanggap ko na. ano nga bang katuturan ng ginawa ni christian tolosa na yan sa buhay nga ba ng mga diehard, hardcore, cory-pa-rin-kami na mga tulad natin?
gaya nga ng sinabi ko, sinulit ko sa panonood ng madonna tour. pare. sulit ang panood. at pati si albert e napasayaw na rin sa finale ni madoy...parang ang jologs e no.
